“SUZU CAFE Jinnan is part of a small Restaurant group which serves excellent Italian food paired with stylish interior design.

Their locations are also central, with this one being only a short walk from Shibuya station. Nevertheless, you might never find it as the entrance is not that visible and the Restaurant is on the 3rd floor. Once you know where you are going it’s pretty easy, so don’t worry. Actually, it is in the same building as “and People Jinnan” so should this have a long queue it’s worth going upstairs as you might get lucky ????

The restaurant is kept rather dark with a nice shabby chic vibe. There is plenty of seating with Sofas and normal chairs alike. Natural light floats in through the big window so its appearance is very pleasant. It is pretty quiet and the crowd is mixed, though a bit on the trendy side…

As for our visit today, we came for coffee and a cheeky dessert. They offer a great value Sweet Set from 3 pm – 6 pm, which includes your favorite drink (Coffe was ¥550) and you just add a dessert of your choice for another ¥500. We loved the Matcha cake as it was not ultra sweet.

If you come for Dinner expect to pay around ¥1000 for pasta and ¥700 for side dishes, which is not too bad considering we are in the center of Shibuya.

This could also be a nice spot for a date, not too formal but stylish and food is great. And they have a Party deal, were you spend 2h and get a 9 dish buffet and free drinks for ¥5,250 per person. Sounds like a nice alternative to your normal tabe/nomihodai….

Just as we were leaving their Apero Menu caught our eyes! So we will be back for a “Feierabend” drink and some tapas one of these days.
