We stumbled on this little Restaurant called “Life” by chance. It’s fairly hidden, nestled in between buildings and the front looked more like a flower shop than a restaurant…

Once you enter it’s homey. We love the wooden features and the decorations look like you are in someone’s house. The vibe is chilled and casual. With a mixed crowd, maybe a bit older, 30ish…. they played Japanese Indi music which made us feel quite nostalgic and we felt like it would be easy to spend an afternoon here ????

Staff is Uber nice. They are attentive and then leave you to it, no hovering around, just really pleasant! The menu has some English, but they also tried to explain, which was very cute. We went for the lunch deal at $1080, they have a few selections. We ordered the ginger pork rice plate, but the soup also looked delicious on the next table. Portions are huge and come with salad. And don’t be fooled by my ginger pork, most of their food is Italian inspired, such as pastas and they have tiramisu to end your meal in style.

You can add Drinks or Dessert to make it a set. For example, ad a Late and pay only $1400. That’s a pretty nice deal…

Whether you are looking for a nice lunch spot or just fancy a coffee near Yoyogi Park, yet away from the crowds, this is the spot for you!

Oh, and just to let you know, they are closed in the afternoon between 2.30 pm and 5.45 pm… If you are in the area around that time, why not go to Zarigani Cafe instead?
