Shibuya

Who does NOT like sushi?

And I mean it’s Japan! Here you can eat the best sushi in the World and at a reasonable price too! Well if you know where to go that is ????

So let me introduce this small chain. They are infamous for their delicious, yet cheap and generous food. No wonder you easily wait for an hour to get a seat. The system is easy, you get a ticket and once your number is up, your seated and delicious treats will come your way…. This system is fair and efficient, something I love about the Japanese. So how to work it?

At the Restaurant -> get a ticket -> wait until your number is called -> order food! ☺️

As you can see, my Number was 278 and we were only at 244. How much did we wait? Pretty much 1 hour…

So my recommendation is:

  1.  Go on a weekday
  2. Arrive around 4.30 and yes, there will already be a queue!
  3. Have plenty of time
  4. Do some errands, go for a walk, bring a book while you wait
  5. Make sure your phone is fully charged, as you will regret wasting your battery while waiting once the food comes out

But once you get to your table, you will not bother that you have waited, cause it is really great!

Expect to pay between ¥100 and ¥400, but have a look at the menu below, because they average is around ¥200 and the size, believe me, they are almost double of what you would get abroad!

Also, the Menu is English and the Staff is lovely, really there is no excuse not to eat here! To my surprise, they have a pretty extensive selection of non-fish sushi (normally you get cucumber and maybe omelet but that’s it). So I was delighted to find Avocado, different herbs and Beef. Furthermore, they have a selection of broiled sushi, which means not completely raw and of course, everything you would ever want in terms of fish.

Really a Dream come true…
