World Book Cafe is well hidden away just a few mins from Sapporo Tv Tower. A real gem for anyone wanting to warm up in the colder months or just need some time to relax.
To be honest, even knowing where it is, this place is hard to find. As it is located upstairs, with pretty much zero signage inside a very unspectacular building. Check the photo below for reference. Once you located the right building, the entrance is to your left next to the orange shop, head to the 5th floor.
Once you enter this arty book cafe you may be a little overwhelmed by all the colors and things on display. Give your eyes a moment to adjust and make yourself comfortable. This space is designed to pick up a book and be nosey.
We got a juice and tea for 550Yen each, as well as a delicious cheesecake for another 600Yen. They also do mains and lunch sets. Which makes World Book Cafe the perfect pit stop while sightseeing in Sapporo or a great find to have lunch.
One of our favorite cafes in Sapporo, but make sure to also check “Shelter Cafe” a flower shop turned cafe not far from Odori Park.
