Woof Curry is a small Curry Restaurant in Kamakura. It is within walking distance from the great Buddha, as well as Zenvague and only a few minutes from Hase Station on the Enoden railway.
It was not busy when we got here around 7 pm on a Saturday, which was great! They also have 2 floors, so even if you feel it’s full make sure to check.
The staff was really friendly and the general vibe was relaxed. Next to us was a family with two kids and they played indi music. Its Decor is minimal but stylish with a modern feel. Just a nice place to eat a curry.Â
And the moment you enter, the smell is just delicious!
As the name already suggests, Woof Curry only does curry. You can choose between chicken 900Â¥, pork 1000Â¥, beef 1000Â¥, vegetables 900Â¥ or their special. Which is a combo of meat of your choice, with plenty of vegetables and boiled egg for 1250Â¥. Guess what we got ????
The beef was tender and especially the vegetables were full of flavor from the spices. It’s a mild curry, so even if you don’t like spicy foods you will enjoy this. The portion was generous and warming, just the perfect meal for a chilly evening.
