Kissa Seikatsu is a small cafe in Higashi Koenji and if you love quirky coffee shops this one is for you!

It is really one of those great finds, totally surprising and once you found it, you definitely want to come back. But first of all, it’s tiny. Max 8, maybe 10 people can fit, which makes a lot of its charm. As you enter you know the owner loves music! Posters and records everywhere. A really nostalgic vibe, which is lovely.

Aside from a great coffee menu, at Kissa Seikatsu you can also bring your own snacks! Yes, you read correctly, how nice is that? Whether you bring your own Cookies, a sandwich or whatever you fancy, the owner is fine with that.

The Coffee itself is tasty, with a variety of blends to pick from. with the owner being super passionate about his coffee, you can even get a smaller tasting size and try a few. Or get one of the specialty coffees, we like the sounds of Marshmallow Cafe au Lait! If you go for the Cafe au Lait, you even get to choose the ratio of milk! 1:1 means you get half milk, half coffee. The attention to details the owner pays is really amazing.

There are also board games you can use and if you go, there might be a small surprise. But we leave that for you to discover when you visit ????
