Counterpart Coffee Gallery is a small coffee shop just in between Shibuya and Shinjuku. With its closest station being Oedo-lines Nishishinjuku Gochome. So it may not be the most central, but still very much worth a visit.
Walking up to it you may think, this is really small and mainly coffee to go. But they do have 3 floors so there is ample space to sit in an have a quick break. It’s minimalist yet hip and the staff is friendly. We loved the upstairs space with all the natural light and as an added bonus; they have charging stations for your laptop or phone!
We got two lattes for 550¥, one ice and one hot. As there was no Food yet, but they do offer cinnamon rolls and small sandwiches at times.
So if you happen to be in the area, or simply got lost, this is a great coffee shop to relax, work a little, or get your bearings.
