Path, is a very popular breakfast restaurant, famous for its pastries located near Yoyogi Park.

The challenge here is to get there early! To be honest, we tried several times, but as they close at 2 pm for their morning service we never made it.

So we were excited to be here early this time and no surprise there was a queue outside. And the wait can be a bit… But it’s great actually. They have a work station just in front of the window, so if you are lucky you can see how the pastry is being made!

Path’s interior is stylish/comfortable, a lot of wood, turntables, a bit shabby-chick. It’s kept dim-lit, which gives the hustle and bustle of the staff and customers a nice vibe.

We ordered a Coffee 500¥ and the Dutch pancake for 1500¥. Sounds a bit pricey, we know. Also if you go for this, there will be a 30min wait. We kinda wish we could order it already while waiting outside, but it is still japan. If you’re in a hurry, their pastries look tasty too, but some might be sold out by as early as 10 am.

But let’s us tell you about this pancake. It’s totally worth the wait and the price tag! We think pancake, like made in a pan. But these are oven-baked, huge fluffy things filled with prosciutto and Burrata cheese! Utterly delicious and well worth the wait!

The Dutch Pancakes at Path are pretty huge and very filling. By yourself, it might be too much. But for two people to share it would be perfect and might leave you with some space for one of their cakes…

Our take? It’s Really an amazing brunch spot with its dimmed lights and delicious pancakes. To be honest, now we are curious about what their dinner menu has to offer…

But if you really cannot wait, there is another amazing cafe just 2 min walk away called life. So either way, you will be able to get delicious breakfast, coffee or lunch around this trendy, not well-known neighborhood.
