Tex Mex Factory is a modern Mexican diner right in the heart of Shibuya.
I have passed this a few times recently thinking, let’s try this but somehow never went. So I have been pretty excited to check this out for lunch! And the taco lover in me nearly had a minor heart attack when I realized that this place does all-you-can-eat tacos!!!
Yes, you read correctly! Actually, it gets even better: soft drinks are free too!!!
So what is this deal called “Endless Tacos” you might ask? It’s pretty straight forward, on weekdays from 11.30-15.00 you can eat as many tacos as you can for ¥1280! This is a pretty good deal, especially as normally two of them come in at around ¥800….
Now, if you imagine premade tiny tacos, that’s not what you get. This is a buffet-style make your own and it’s not technically Tacos. You take as many fajita wraps as you can fit and fill them to your liking. You can choose from different meats, French Fries, nachos, salads, and all the trimmings you can wish for. Actually, I think I got my money’s worth already by just adding jalapeños????

This also seems a pretty nice place to have dinner by looking at their decent a-la-carte Menu. But I guess this has to wait for another time…
So if you’re in Shibuya around lunchtime, starving and craving some Mexican grub this won’t leave you hungry, to be honest, I am already looking for an excuse to come back ????
