When you check the pictures of this restaurant on the internet it looks really amazing, with many options to eat. Well, unfortunately, that’s not true, the food is rather limited. Their menu is seasonal, which we do love! But that does mean that you might see a delicious picture, but it won’t be available. So, to be honest, the food is not the reason why we would come back. But if you love tea and are looking for a quiet place to stay for a while, this is actually pretty awesome! 

The place is bright and beautiful and does not feel crowded. When we were there, we’ve seen several people having small meetings and there was even a radio program recorded next to us. 

So come to Cafe Mame-Hico if you need a quiet place to study or work and grab a lovely cup of tea. Nobody will bother you for hours. ????

On this occasion, we had two coffees and two plates of mixed sandwiches. We liked that they offer several different fillings and let you choose two. It’s called a half/half and will cost you around ¥900. as for the Coffees, they were another ¥900 each, which is a little pricey. Therefore our recommendation is to get one of their Teapots as that is actually good value.
