Yes, you hear right, for a limited time, starting on the 15th of November, mister Donut offers Pikachu doughnuts!
It seems that last year’s Pokemon doughnuts were a big hit so Mister Donut decided to bring them back this year again, yay! Check out their Youtube video, it is really cuteness overload:
And yes, although we had lunch and are feeling pretty full, we also feel we should get moving and get some. Sure a Donut or two always fit, right? The excitement is really that big!

Of course, the big question is what do they taste like?
So, the Pikachu Doughnut is banana dough with whipped cream stuffing and a chocolate coating, yum! It is not too expensive at ¥240 we think. The smaller ring donut, that looks a bit like Pikachus bum (there we said it) has the same flavors, but with a custard filling and the Pokeball comes with a white chocolate/strawberry glaze, both at ¥180.

You can get them at any Mister Donut shop. You can check their stores here.
Unfortunately, when we arrived at the Mister Donut Shop in Shinjuku’s Odakyu Ace, there wasn’t any. It seems they only have them at special times and at this location you should be lucky either at 12 or then 4 pm. They also only have limited numbers and will only let you buy two at a time. So we do feel there might be a queue and it will be though to get one…
