めん徳 二代目 つじ田 麹町店 or how we freely translated it to “Mentoku second-generation Tsujida Kojimachi Ramen” is located in Yotsuya, just around the corner from Kōjimachi Station station. And with a second location in Nishishinbashi.
You get your ticket at the machine outside. There are some pictures but the menu is in Japanese. Once you got it, Enter the shop and let them know how many people you are. Don’t worry if you don’t speak Japanese just use your fingers. They will show you where to sit down. To our surprise, they also had a second floor, so even if you think it’s already full give it a try.
We ordered the special salt Ramen for 970¥ and it looked stunning! Expect it to arrive in a big stone bowl, beautifully decorated with all the goodness; egg, meat a few leavy bits… And yes, it was delicious too! With an Almost creamy broth and tender meat, but what we really loved is the addition of tiny bits of Yuzu rind to it! Unexpected but sooo good!
And as so often with Ramen, the bowl seems to never end. With this generous portion, you will not leave hungry. But if you really feel like more food, they give you extra boiled eggs for free!
Mentoku second-generation Tsujida Kojimachi Ramen really was another great stop on our quest to find the best ramen, make sure to check out where else we have been. ????
