440 Broadway Taco Shop is a small restaurant just a short walk from Ebisu station and if you enjoy Tacos this is the place you want to check out!
What do we love about this place? For a start, we love that they play Mexican music, not sure what it is about it, but we were instantly transported out of Japan and ready to eat Tacos! What else? The minimalist space with the red neon signs is visually great, not fancy, just right.
The guys behind the till at 440 Broadway Taco Shop also welcomed us with a smile, they were super nice and chatty and the food was done quickly and looked great!
We ordered 3 tacos: 1 chicken, 1 beef and 1 pork and paid 1350¥. This maybe sounds a bit expensive but these tacos are huge! Actually we struggled. But with Mexican food that tasty how can you not finish your plate ????♀️
We also love the salsas, go for the homemade green one (mildest) and mix it with the “Tapatio” salsa Picante (hottest) for that extra heat! They give you a wedge of lime with each taco too and all of those combined just bring those Mexican flavors we love together!
It was pretty quiet for eating in, but take out was busy with people picking up orders one by one. So if you don’t fancy eating out, why not pick up some Mexican treats here and enjoy them in the pleasure of your home. We wish we lived closer, well life is not fair…
Definitely on our list to come back with a few friends!
